At the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2026, the Vasco Cabral Cultural Institute presented a curated selection of publications from Guinea-Bissau, including novels, essays, and contemporary writings reflecting the country’s cultural and intellectual landscape.
The showcase featured both established authors and emerging voices, offering audiences in the United States a deeper engagement with Guinea-Bissauan literature and storytelling.
